Jessica Simpson. Poor girl. They say she might go into a "tailspin." They say the pressure might cause her to spin out of control. Because she lost her dog to a Coyote. Snatched it right from her. The media is making fun of her, though. With all kinds of sarcastic implications. And that is really sad to me. What is goin' on in the minds of people now? Makin' fun of a girl who lost her dog. I suppose she is rich. I suppose she could buy another dog. But everybody knows the feeling your own dog gives you. Companionship without grief. A constant tail wagging happy mood. And now the dog is gone. And they are going to rouse her about it? Makes me think twice about folks. This girl has the blues. They ought to leave her alone.

I can't really say I know what is going on in the mind of Kanye, but I think he ought to learn himself some manners. Sure, he does get himself some attention. And we know attention is what sells records. But lordy if some of these youngsters don't figure out how to control them sleves, I don't know what will become of the entertainment world!

Well, so far, Mr. Obama has been workin' hard for his people. He's trying really hard to take care of everybody who might be sick. And that is a reason to be glad among the many other reasons. I'm in Netsville, just a browsin' my days away. Permanent resident, there of. I think Netsville has so much to offer as far as news is concerned. It's here. It's there. It's practically everywhere you look. The only thing that I have noticed is that most of it is bad news. Aint that a terrible shame? I sometimes ask myself why. What are y'all doin out there in the real world that gives folks the right mind to report such things? Well, just the other day I decided to type two words into the googly search. I typed in Good News. Just to see if there was any out there, ya know what I mean? And sure enough , up pops this link to a website that is dedicated to strictly postive news stories and such. I smiled a sincere smile and clicked on it. No tricks. No scam or spam. A woman named Geri came up with the idea to do it.

Say...

Have you ever been with a woman one night

and then find yourself with her again, night after night?

Well...a long time ago when I was in my younger days, I was thinking what a man could do on a particular evening.

It was a hot southern night, too. The kinda night that makes you wanna go down to the river just to catch a breath of somethin' cool and breezy. Well, soon...there I was, by the river...shirt off, pants rolled up...hat sittin' on my loafers, starin' up at the moon light. Wonderin' if I was gonna wade into the water or not was the only thing on my mind, really. When all of a sudden I find myself lookin' into a pair of eyes that seemed to have bubbled up from below the surface line of the river. And ever so slowly a pair of eyes became a face. The face became a neck. A neck gave way to some shoulders. Her shoulders turned into...hey!! I must've turned so quick around that I lost my footing in the soft sand and fell over my own hat and shoes, right smack into the mud! The only sound before that ruckus was the cicadas and an owl or two. And the next thing I hear is the distant sound of woman's voice...a sweet sound, too, I might add. She was askin' me somethin'...but I now had all this mud in my ear, so's I couldn't really hear much. Well, when I turned to see where the sound was comin' from...I almost fell back up, if ya know what I mean! She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, down by the river. And even in the dim moon light I must confess that neither skirt nor dress was draped across her loveliness...

Well, what happened next was something you 'd have to ask the Lord about later, considering that He was our only witness. Ah, the memories that a simple song can conjer up, huh? Oh wait a minute...I haven't even mentioned the song I was busy reminiscing about, did I? Hmmm....now what song was I gonna mention...oh yeah.

Ya see...it wasn't until years later that I heard a song called " Give It Up daddy" by a singer named Albinia Jones.

Anyway...

Immediately it got me to thinkin' about that night...now lessee....what was that woman's name?

I mean...that was just the first time I saw her down yonder by the river. Sweet, like brown sugar, she was. And our little river affair lasted, off and on for quite some time, too. I could imagine her singin' this song to me the way we was carryin' on that summer. If I could just remember the girls name...hmmm...darn it!

Well, maybe if you play the song it'll come back to me.

By a decent looking blogger of the caucasian ethnicity. He put up an interesting video about this years election that all you Americans are getting ready for. And rather than just steal the video from his page and put it on mine, I will just send you right over to his page. His Name is Din. Now, I don't know if it's because he makes noise, or not, but Din's Bloggy is sayin' some things about Obama that ought to be heard. And as a man who lived here in America, as a black man...I will say that a tip of the hat goes out to Mr. Din and his bloggy...and did I mention that he is also a guitar player?

Angels drop in on Oakland...

Hey y'all. How you folks doin' today?
Good? Have you heard about the city of Oakland?

Oakland, California, that is. It's a place I have heard about for a while now. The most popular news goin' round about Oakland is the crime reports, the hip hop music and the Raiders. I was searchin' around on the googly web here in Netsville and I found a new story on this east bay city. Apparently the citizens have been talking with the mayor about the crime so much that the Gaurdian Angels have stepped in to give them a hand. I think that is awfully nice of these Angels to do for a city as crime infested as Oakland. And brave, too. I must say that sometimes the only thing you can do about robberies is to steal back the dignity that you were intent on having in the first place. Especially if it's your own town.

So go ahead Oakland, do what you gotta do and keep on with the positive side of things if ya can.

Just another day in Netsville, here. I was readin' up on some of my on line friends.

Mister Son House and old Blind Lemon Jefferson (the Fake ones) are talkin' bout who their favorite source is on Muzic.com. I don't see how they could over look the very source that has brought us ALL here today. I'm talkin' about Public Domain 4U . I wonder why they are not talkin' about Public Domain, too.

I guess it's a different choice for anybody. So, I guess if we are votin' on a particular source, I would not hesitate to say that mine would be, most definitely, with out a doubt in my mind, PD4U. Just wanna get my two cents in before EVERYBODY and their mama chimes in with their vote. Ya see, that way I get to have my opinion set before some can even SAY what it should be. One thing I can hardly stand is when people try to change my opinion before I even say what it is. Do you know what I mean? It's what all of you gotta do this November, right?

Anyway... while I'm talkin' about PD4U, I might as well play somethin' for ya...a song about keeping your home where your heart is. No matter where you go, where you vote, or where you are...you always got to remember somehow...

Strange feelings about the world...

I was browsing through Netsville today and everything started to make me feel kinda strange.

I just couldn't relate to most of things I was lookin' at and listenin' to. Then I stopped at this site called Mp34U.com. What a clever little name. Anyway, during a random browse, as they call it, I happened upon a very strange sounding guitar player named John William Gordon. He is from Oakland, California. He has this song called "Harm Alarm" that struck a peculiar chord in me.

And I thought, " THAT'S IT!! THIS is how the new modern world makes me feel, sometimes! "

Maybe you'll understand.

Now you can't even talk on the phone without somebody listening in. Maybe we have all lost our senses just enough to allow such ridiculous laws to be passed. That Bush fellow is being too bullheaded about his own country. Sounds like a bit of trouble is comin' round the corner...it sounds like somebody aint got their ethics tuned up at all. If this country's ethics were in the shape of a giant guitar, we would need to take it in for a major over haul. All the tuning pegs are bent and broken. And Big Brother aint playin' no guitar anyway

Well...it's true. Know one told me. But I finally looked around and found out for myself. There is a man named Obama who is running for election. Obama is African American. This is very historic. I have never seen or heard anything like this before in the whole history of the United States of America. But it's what the googly told me. I know it's called google, but my eyes get all googly when I spend too much of my time lookin' round at ALL the stuff on the googly. I found this new cartoon called AFRO SAMURAI...now imagine that. Maybe Mr. Afro Samurai'll lend his services to this Obama gentlemen...Lord knows he gonna need every lil' bit...

Well...hello there. I told you that I would be back. I have been tryin' to catch up on some things round here...all the music...and the news and the videos...the videos, mm,mmm,mmmm...I thought I was watchin' a movin' picture and it turned out to be a music video. They said his name is P. Diddy. Then they say his name is Puff Daddy. Then HE says his name is Puff Diddy, or somethin'...hmm...I think either way it goes...this man is a super star. If his name changin' be on the news, then this man has got to be bigger than life it self! Back in my day we couldn't even imagine folks bein' anything but thankful.

Hmmm...next thing you know...

...somebody gonna tell me that there'll be a black man runnin' fo' president!
